Argosy On The Beach

The location for me was perfect. The apartment was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. I woke up to a gorgeous sunrise every morning as the apartment faced the Coral Sea. The owners booked my tours which was convenient and cost the same as booking through the tour operators. The owners were extremely helpful, friendly and so positive.

I didn't experience anything I didn't like. I felt so at home here.

Loved looking out in beautiful warm mornings through palm trees to the sea. Loved the wallabies and the bush stone curlews. Our vantage point was perfect. Great walks, either to Kewarra Beach or to Palm Cove. Local cafe Coco Mojo was walkable and great.

Beautiful place, nicely decorated and comfortable. Fantastic balconies. Lovely pool and lots of tropical gardens.

A bit tricky to get in and out of the building. Paper towels would have been nice.

If we were to be honest - a double bed was small for us - the Space could have had a queen sized bed but I understand people may have said the bedroom was cramped so we totally loved the space & the downstairs courtyard - it was perfect for us

The apartment was very well equipped with everything you need including big OLED TV with 3D glasses and a sound bar. The managers were above and beyond to prepare the apartment for a comfortable stay. The chilled bottle of bubbles was a nice touch. We can't wait to be back again.

We appreciated the wrap around windows and sea view. We loved the open plan and felt relaxed and comfortable. The cleanliness and facilities were great. The hosts were friendly and enthusiastic. We are looking forward to returning.

A beautiful apartment within our budget

We loved our stay here. The hosts Stuart and Tony were very hospitable, nothing was too much trouble for them. We were in apartment 2, which was newly and beautifully decorated. And spotlessly clean. The location was perfect, right across from the ocean, and not too far from the restaurants at Palm Cove and Trinity Beach. It was an easy drive from the Cairns airport and to Port Douglas.

Everything was to our liking.

The apartment was large, airy, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It is not new, but has been tastefully redecorated. There were two large lounges and a large HD TV. Well equipped kitchen, (huge fridge) a nice carpeted bedroom with excellent bed and linen, a nice rear balcony with chairs, and a lovely view to the tall palm forest behind. There were frequent visits to the lawns at the back by the agile wallabies and bush stone curlews. The air con units in both the lounge and bedroom were quite new and very efficient. There was lots of bench space and the dining setting was large and comfortable too. The bathroom was quite pleasant with good bench area, and a good shower. We appreciated the extra separate toilet. The most impressive feature was the long wide balcony with lovely views of the beach and foreshore. Four sliding doors can be used to access the balcony. There were a table and six mesh chairs, two other mesh chairs with a coffee table, and two comfortable mesh lounges. The area is quiet and not far from a Coles store, and other shops, restaurants and takeaways. The property has a nice pool and spa and we enjoyed a swim there. We both enjoyed walking along the shaded path along the waterfront across the road. All perfect for a pleasant, relaxed stay. Stuart was very courteous and helpful.

There was nothing which could spoil our stay.

The unit was very spacious with amazing views right across from the beach. Sun rises were amazing from the 2nd floor unit and had most of our meals out on the balcony. Huge TV with netflix access for the kids. The beds were very comfortable with air conditioning in all the rooms. Two very comfortable leather lounges. The beach swimming enclosure was a 200 mtr walk away otherwise we were in the pool most days which had recliners and a huge BBQ. Kitchen was large and well equipped with items we didn't expect. Palm Cove was a 30 min relaxing walk along the beach or trail path to the north and there were busses very regularly to Palm Cove or back to Cairns with the bus stop just 100 mtr away. Comparatively it was very good value for money.
