Fab stay as usual

Service is good but the room is a bit dated and insufficient lighting at the entrance. Not in the city center but good for travel to airport as no need to get stuck in traffic in the city.

I have stayed here several times in the past and always a great value for the rate, especially the suites. With the mall a 5 minute walk down the road its very convenient. Only problem is, all the rooms now stink of cigarette smoke. I clearly booked a non smoking room, reconfirmed at check in that I wanted a true non smoking room, that does not smell like smoke. They upgraded my room to a "non smoking" room, but told me that while foreigners follow the non smoking laws, chinese guests do not. We got into our room and the non smoking room had multiple ashtrays, no wonder why people smoke in non smoking rooms.

Very nice hotel to stay but is a bit far from place of intrest.

The location was very convenient for my business. Hotel is maintained well. Service was ok. Sometimes got very noisy when packed with tourists.

The only shopping mall at this area is Mix.

The hotel room was comfortable. Basic amenities provided for, but for the same room price and category, my colleague's had an iron in her room and laundry facilities on her floor whereas mine did not. Hotel staff was very polite and their command of English was assuring (I don't speak a word of Mandarin). Main downside was that the hotel location is rather remote. Every cab driver we encountered had trouble recognising even the road name, and it was all the more confusing that there were no less than three Holiday Inns in and around Hangzhou.

Love the hotel, super clean and the staff are just superb, love to stay again. Location is very good as it is only 30RMB from downtown. Only glitch is hotel map on keycard for taxi needs to be bigger, as taxi drivers have poor eyesights. And the map should read..next to HANGZHOU OPERA. Overall, very impressed with this hotel. Stay in many hotels, one of the best.
