Hotel Residence Playa Colibri

Great location in Las Terrenas, very good maintainance, facilities and friendly staff. I definitely recommend it.

This is a very nice hotel with a most pleasant beach. Our room had an AC bedroom, living room/kitchen, and very large balcony. Breakfasts were OK. Service in the hotel was very good, except that there is no phone so whenever we needed anything we had to visit the front desk. The people there spoke good English and were always very helpful. Swimming pool and grounds are spacious, well-maintained, and very attractive. I highly recommend this hotel.

Located at the quieter end of Las Terrenas, this place was perfect. Our 1 bed unit was perfectly sized for a couple. The bright Caribbean decor, the cosy balcony and the well-maintained grounds made us feel we were getting away from it all. Our unit was towards the back of the property so our ocean view was hindered by the trees on the property but it was still a nice view. The beach is approximately 8 ft from the property and was beautiful. Breakfast on he each at the beachfront cafe was a lovely start to the day. I would've added a few more pieces of furniture (like coffee table or side tables) and table lamps to the living room of our unit to make it more comfortable. Plus a larger TV than the 17 inch one. Overall I loved this place and it was within walking distance to our 2 favorite restaurants - La Vela Blanca and Alisei.

Situated in front of a nice quaint beach. Reasonably priced.

Wonderful location on the beach, walking distance to the center, helpful and friendly staff, lovely pool, all in all a very good option when it comes to staying in Las Terrenas.

To spend a good time in a wonderfull place after travelling around republica dominica, i recommend a stay in Colibri at minimum a week

The decor was very colorful and inviting, the staff were very responsive and accommodating. The beach was right there and beautiful. Breakfast served on the beach. Only problem is the noise level caused by motorbikes and ATVs zooming around the town- far enough from this hotel, but overwhelming in the center of town. We walked back to the hotel in the dark around 8pm. There were no street lights- complete blackness- an adventure, but safe in the end.

Love d place, it is like old caribian country stile nice tropical garden, small pool, a #9 beach n view, a place to relax, but d bed was hard as a rock-- one more time change the beds-- or was just me ?
