Great views from balcony and spa

Quiet, clean and the team kindly left lights and the heater on for us when we arrived. The villa was exactly as pictured and the communication with the owner was fantastic.

We loved the privacy and peaceful setting of Blue Cliffs Retreat. Staying in the Dusk Cottage was a real treat – the kitchen was very well equipped, the outdoor shower was an amazing experience, and the day bed on the front deck was perfect for relaxing. The natural surroundings were beautiful, and seeing wildlife right from the accommodation made our stay even more memorable. Overall, it was a wonderfully tranquil place to unwind.

Some of the furniture was quite dated and in need of an upgrade. The sofa and mattress were no longer supportive and unfortunately caused some back discomfort. The outdoor furniture was also quite worn and would benefit from a refresh. The spa bath had some issues as well – the headrests shown in the listing were missing, and the jets only worked intermittently. The grounds around the property could have been better maintained, with rubbish piled up near the lakeside bin. Despite these issues, we genuinely didn’t want to leave — with a bit of attention to maintenance, this retreat would be even more incredible.
