Coral Mist Beach Hotel

Beautiful view of the sea from the balcony. Spacious room. Issue with air-conditioning but staff moved me to another room without hesitation.

The stay was incredible. The staff were knowing and friendly. The views were great. It was within an easy distance of Bridgetown. I would struggle to find something to criticize. Will be back!

Excellent hotel.

Right on the beach! The rooms were in fair shape, had balconies and the rest was just OK. The air conditioning was very good until it started raining and the waterfall of water came down on the table under it. Lucky for us we were in the room and were able to save our electronic devises. We nad a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom ocean front room booked, but were originally given not an ocean front, but a 2 bedroom 1 bath garden view. After I went back to reception and mentioned it we were just given another 1 bedroom room next to the first room. It was ok because we were only there for 1 night. The service and staff were very friendly. The restaurant had Ok food but the service was slow and the waitress never smiled once. The coffee came after we were finished with breakfast and asked if the coffee was ready yet.. The best part of the place was the beach. Parking was great too bc we had a car. The kitchen was small and had a sponge for dishes but no soap:)

The hotel is a bit dated but Caribbean chic. The location and beach cannot be beat however. It’s a gem. Stay here if you can!

It was nice, but very noisy due to the proximity to the road. Also dinner meals were very pricey and only so so quality.

Had booked a year in advance at Coral Mist but upon arrival they did not have our reservation correct and had to give us a room at the sister property Blue Orchid. We were very surprised since you had booked it one year in advance and had explicitly chosen Coral Mist over the Blue Orchid property. They were very accommodating however and gave us a very nice room at Blue Orchid. The staff was very friendly and there were always loungers for the beach and our room was cleaned very well. The views are beautiful and the sound of the waves was wonderful. The kitchenette was lovely and very well equipped and handy. We would definitely stay there again and would actually hope to get the same room that we were given in error. Very nice hotel!

This property could do with upgrading . Hotels in Barbados are expensive and this location on beach was excellent - it’s a wee walk into St Lawrence Gap ( or grab a taxi or reggae bus) if I had longer I would have explored the area more ( we only stayed 2nights ) . It just felt tired and for just over £200 a night I wished we had gone straight to our cruise ship but wanted to do 2 days beforehand - I will not do that again . In saying that it was hard to find anything for this price in Barbados when I was looking so maybe that’s just the way it is in Barbados . We had an excellent breakfast in the restaurant area which overlooked the beach and the price wasn’t too bad .
