Coral Mist Beach Hotel

Loved being right on the beach with a wonderful view. So handy to everything you need and the staff were the BEST!

Excellent property. Suites are spacious, and clean with beautiful views. The staff are friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Whole heartedly recommend.

Good cleaning services. We wish the restaurant had been open for more than just breakfasts.

Friendly staff, clean and tidy- everything was wirking

On arrival I was placed in a room with a massive tree obstructing the view, instead of the room I’d pre paid for. I was told the phone lines were apparently down in the room I’d booked. I then had to beg to be moved back to the room I had originally paid for. Whilst in the new accommodation I then had the WiFi intermittently terminated and the phone lines would work only when staff needed to contact me but rarely when I needed to call down to reception I was then told that if I didn’t complete a credit mandate I could not order room service or any food from the restaurant and on that day most of the fast food outlets were closed so I nearly didn’t eat that day as I couldn’t leave the room Email communications with the coral mist reservations manager about a query I had regarding the room tax levy, were not as helpful as they should have been

We were happy with the hotel room and property. Our room was large and spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view overlooking the beach. Bed was comfortable and we appreciated having a full kitchen to save some on eating out. Some of the decore was a bit dated but it fit the relaxed vibe of the hotel. The pool area and beach was clean. Complimentary lounge chairs, umbrellas, side tables, and beach towels were available on request. The sand was perfect! Hardly a rock or shell to be found because it was so smooth. The water was a bit rough, lots of waves and moderate current, but we didn’t kind. We were told that the public beach a few mins away was calmer and better for swimming/kids but we were content right where we were. Can’t beat the location! Coral mist is just a 5 min walk away from the grocery store, several restaurants, a public beach, and shops. We did not eat at the restaurant on site. Overall we feel the Coral Mist was wonderful and extremely affordable given the amenities/property. We would stay again.

We loved our view of the sea. Staff were kind and accommodating. The one drawback was the location of the room. Right next to the restaurant, which meant diners could see in our room but, more importantly, we heard early kitchen noise. Quite early. A bit of a drawback. Would book again , perhaps not in that room .

I chose to stay at this property because of its location to the beach & shops. The complimentary Rum punch was 1 of the best on the island. The maid Sheenan & Reggie were great. The rest of the staff we met however, the service they gave us was terrible. Certainly not as I remember the local Bajan people being on my previous visits to Barbados. We felt an inconvenience being there. Whether this was due to Covid etc I’m not sure, but it shouldn’t of affected how we were treated as guests. We arrived at the hotel to be told the lift was out of order for the whole duration of our stay, this really impacted us as we have a toddler & pram. We were given a room on the top floor which meant my partner & I had to struggle up & down 4 floors in the heat with the pram & suitcases. After afew days of doing this my partner pulled his back & was in a lot of pain. Surely we should of been notified of this before travelling? We would have chosen to make alternative arrangements to our accommodation if we’d if known in advance.
