Harrison Hall Hotel

The location is on point! This is was our third stay and we cant wait to come back. We love that its away from all the action of the main pier, we love that its quiet and the porch with the ocean view and ocean access is definitely what makes us keep coming back

The beds could be a little softer! They are very stiff and for a woman of a bigger size, a firm mattress doesnt give much support.

The location is fantastic. They upgraded us (at no charge) to an oceanfront room because we were there through the week and they had minimal occupancy. Such a pleasant surprise. The staff was AMAZING!!! Fred is a true gem and the epitome of what exceptional customer service SHOULD look like!! But the entire staff was so kind, courteous and beyond helpful, at every turn!! They truly made our stay THE BEST we’ve had in our entire time of coming to OC!! Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for making us not only feel welcome, but WANTED ❤️

If there’s a negative, it’s the exceptionally small bathroom/shower. That said, it was clean & not uncommon in older OC hotels. This particular facility is between 14 & 15th St, right on the boardwalk and built during a time when beach stays would’ve looked entirely different. But the accommodating staff, the great value & the premium location more than make up for anything lacking in the bathroom situation!!

The staff was pleasant, and understanding of issues that arose. They helped promptly without complaint

The property itself was fine, obviously it’s an old building, the hall smelled weird in one spot on the second floor the two nights we were there, bottom floor smelled like cigarettes faintly, but like people should just not smoke near the door, there’s signs up not to. The first room I was given, the windows would not lock and the laced themselves were not screwed into the windows, I brought this to them, they got me a different room without hesitation. I should have taken the 5th floor option, this is because of an entire college band trip visiting at the same time as myself. Just bad luck, the walls are very thin and you can hear the person beside you plug a phone charger into a wall, the people above me were awful, I called the front desk twice, they went up there I’m sure and ask them to quiet down but they were college kids so who were they gonna listen to. The pool was likely under construction while I was there, I was there in April and it was cooler during my stay so no pool was necessary. I enjoyed davinchis by the sea, the restaurant featured in their hotel, service was great, happy people, good atmosphere, most importantly good food too, my 5 year old and I had a great dinner there. Location was great, close enough but far away enough for me personally, overstimulated mommas know what I mean Parking was the only other thing that wasn’t the best, there were very few spots available in the main lot, the second lot is hard to find the first time but after that your like oh duh, plus they give you a pass with the directions on the other side, don’t be dumb like me and not look at it before calling.

The room and bath were clean and updated. The lobby was big, relaxing, comfortable and had a great view. Staff was very friendly. Being right on the boardwalk was great and it was right next to a great coffee shop. In spite of it being an old building, It was clean and freshly painted.

I felt the room and bath were very small for the price. The elevator was small and the halls were very narrow.

We loved being on the boardwalk. The staff was really nice, for whatever reason the key wasn't working but the ladies at the front desk helped us out and the rest of the stay was wonderful!
