Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Bowling Green, KY

Our room had NO hot water, it was dirty from the moment we got there and housekeeping NEVER came. On our next to last day there, we borrowed the vacuum from housekeeping and did the cleaning ourselves. We had to take showers in the room next door. And even though I complained multiple times everyday to the staff, NOTHING was ever done. Not even an offer to move us rooms. I always stay at this hotel everytime we come to bg to visit family (several times a year) and I will never stay here again. The staff is both unhelpful and absolutely rude.

The room was nice. Beds were comfortable. Location was perfect for our needs.

The curtain system was set up backwards and didn't cover the whole windows so light came in the room from the windows ALL NIGHT LONG. Making it hard to sleep. The shower faucet was broken and missing a piece of the cover. Also when I booked it said I would get an upgrade to a larger room because of my status, but that did not happen. So somewhat disappointed.

The area is close to many restaurants and activities.

The property was doing maintenance painting which was nauseating and turned off the water one day of our stay to work on the boiler. Requested upkeep for the room twice and didn't receive any new towels nor clean up until our stay was over.

Good location

In the morning before check out, we discovered ants and a safety pin in one of the two beds in the room. When speaking with Jonathon at the front guest during check out I brought up these issues. I was told it is “that time of year” when ants come into the building. I mentioned that finding a safety pin is indicative of the sheets not being changed. Jonathon offered to request a 20% discount for this inconvenience from “corporate”. This refund is yet to be received. I called Radisson and their response was they couldn’t offer a discount because this is a third party booking.
