Candlewood Suites La Crosse N by IHG

We'd like to be able to have a room facing the back instead of the front. We've stayed many times and this is our first time facing the front. The traffic is super loud starting early in the morning.

I’ve seen some reviews that were less than flattering on here, but we thought that this hotel was delightful! We dropped my son off at Purdue, and were en route to drop off my daughter in Minnesota, and this hotel had everything we needed at an excellent price point! And we joked than it was much nicer than my son‘s college apartment that we just left! And better stocked! In addition to boasting kitchen basics, they had a full-size refrigerator, and kitchen essentials such as a colander. It really would make a wonderful long-term stay, which is what I understand that it is for, but it also made an excellent stay for just one night. Comfortable beds, renovated bathroom, everything was sparkling clean. The front desk was super helpful, and I loved the large selection of items that we could borrow. Overall, just a fantastic stop. For those who complained that there was no breakfast, they never advertised that there was breakfast. If you wanted a hotel with breakfast, then go to a hotel that provides breakfast. Simple.

The bed was super comfortable

Clean, drains in tub are slow but very clean staff was friendly

Absolutely no amenities. They have a little shop. Only one grill outside worked and it was filthy .

It was an acceptable place to stay except for me. I can’t tolerate heat and couldn’t get the room cool enough but that’s me.

Good room and nice peoperty even if the neighborhood was a bit run down for the area. LOUD A/C unit. Everything else was great.

Always a great place for a long stay.

The room was very clean and i liked the free coffee and tea 24 hrs. Would definitely stay again.
