Candlewood Suites La Crosse N by IHG

The staff was great, very nice rooms. The neighbors were hanging out in the hallway at 1:00 a.m. and kept my daughter up.

Was here for Wisconsin State High School Track and Field Championships. I have stayed at this hotel previously. It is ideally located 5 minutes by car from UW LaCrosse. There is a Festival Foods grocery store across the parking lot and running/hiking trails within 1 block of the hotel. As this is an extended stay type of hotel, there is minimal interaction with staff, They were polite, not particularly outgoing. Rooms are at a premium the weekend of this track meet and the nightly cost is reflected. It is pricey, but not more so than any other comparable hotels. The cooking facilities in the each room is a bonus. I would stay here again.

Really friendly helpful staff. Hotel was clean though the furniture looked a little on the worn side. The studio suite was fine for a single person traveling. Plenty of room with a full kitchen, desk, recliner and bed. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Hotel was very quiet for Memorial Day weekend which was nice! Served as a good base to hit the trout streams in the area and fly fish. Definitely would recommend and hope to stay again in the future!

The check-in/out team was very nice, friendly and fast. The beds were super comfortable.

The bathroom floor wasn’t clean. It had long and short pubic hair on the floor.

I’ve had a TERRIBLE experience with this hotel!! I made reservations for two rooms on January 23rd, 2024 and the hotel canceled them for NO REASON. My family and I were coming into town from May 31st-1st for the State Track Competition which is a couple weeks away now. I called immediately and they said that it was canceled on the hotels end and it’s now sold out!! I’m sooo very angry. This is nasty business! 😠 Of course all other hotels are sold out as well. IHG and this Candlewood suites either gave my rooms to a group or relisted them at higher price for more money. They’ve given me no other reason! They already price gouge and now they give away rooms to make even more money. Way to take advantage of your customers!
