We were greeted by a very lovely lady Jane, who was extremely friendly and very helpful. I had reserved the electric vehicle charger, and it worked well. Jane also helped us with directions to our next destination. The continental breakfast was good and the staff were all very friendly and professional.
Clean airy room but all a bit convoluted using the restaurant with a pay-as-you-go drink facility and no option of putting the meal on the main bill. All came across as untrusting and a bit rude…
The staff were very friendly and efficient. We only had the breakfast but it was reallygood with plenty of choice. We will be going back.
We stayed the night as we attended a function in the hotel and didn’t want to drive home afterwards, The food was excellent, at dinner and at breakfast the following morning. We had a lovely room, and all the staff were friendly and attentive. Only complaint, the bar closed at 11.00 pm, even to residents, so the party fizzled out! In hindsight our organiser should have secured a later bar.
To be fair I have heard lots of bad press on the hotel group and my expectations were very low. I read lots of 10 scores and thought it may be made up; however, I was really amazed by this hotel. It deserves its 10s. Friendly staff, clean, great facilities, and I would stay again definitely.

Breakfast options were excellent. We really enjoyed the evening meals that we had in the dining room. Every staff member we encountered was unfailingly, friendly, polite, and helpful.
Lovely stay, staff friendly and helpful, particularly Lisa who, alongside brilliant service in the restaurant, was giving good local knowledge advice on places to go and things to do. Everything was cleaneddown thoroughly in the restaurant between sittings. Room was good and clean. No room service unless specifically requested, but mugs/towels etc were readily replaced on request.
I recommend this to everyone in the area.
