SWISS MORAIRA HOTEL - Adults only

La habitación enorme, el desayuno muy bueno, el jardín espectacular.

Beautiful building and interior which was well furnished and looked after. Gardens and ground well kept. Reception staff were lovely; the young girls ran around all day and night staff very friendly and helpful.

Swimming pool dirty and not cleaned once during our stay plus a green ring around the edge which was very off putting so none of us really wanted to venture in. Despite about 20 sun beds there were only about 6 cushions, all in a poor state and three of which were disgusting. Towels left out overnight and into next day and side tables not wiped. No toilet paper in the pool toilet mid morning and no soap in the reception toilet. Our bedroom was lovely and very spacious but painted a sludge brown meaning light had to be on all day. The same in the entrance where the long length mirror was. Man running pool bar quite surly and unhelpful; when asked if we could order lunch he told us he was finishing his coffee. And then we asked where it was he said he had to lay the tables despite no one else being around. In the end we were served at 2:15!!

our room was great - huge bed, walk in shower and nice balcony. There is oversized furniture around the hotel and it looks really great but it's not all very well kept. The staff were really nice, just a bit slow. The pool looks lovely but there is a green rim around it, lots of flies and dead worms so we didn't use it which is such a shame. Great having no children around! Lovely restaurant just down the hill (10 minute walk). This hotel has the potential to be really nice.

The pool, as mentioned above. Again, it could be absolutely beautiful. I would really have liked to have more water in the room and maybe water dispensers around the hotel/pool. I had to go water hunting! The staff were so nice but so slow mostly because they were covering different areas of the hotel. It's out of town a bit but Moraira is a 30 minute walk, downhill so not the end of the world. Some of the rooms were dark but ours was great.

Ontbijt en avond eten is mogelijk, maar is erg stil in het hotel. We hebben daarom gekozen om buiten de deur te ontbijten. Hotel ligt op een berg. Je moet dus altijd met de auto naar het strand.

Great and peaceful location, great building, gardens and pool.
