Easter Island Ecolodge

This hotel is located closed to a main street of Easter Island; from the hotel you can easily walk to restaurants, shops and a beach area. The hotel room is fairly clean and comfort and the breakfast is very good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a good vacation at Easter Island, Chile.

Our room after we were told they had air conditioning didn't have it. They only offer one room with air and fortunately for my wife who has M.S. it was available for an up charge. One of the office personnel had h.a.t.e. tattooed on top of fingers?? and last day we were not able to take a shower because heater went out. Continental breakfast was sub par as well. Would not recommend this hotel. Ray

This is a mid-price hotel so set your expectations. But, since you are always out enjoying the island, it offers all you need- breakfast, intermittent wifi, a central location and extremely helpful staff.

The rooms are very basic, which is what I expected on the Island. The staff are helpful and accomodating. Breakfast is adequate with bread, cheese and fresh fruit and unlimited coffee and juices. The terrace is very nice to sit and read There is no air conditioning but the fan was enough to keep the room cool. Nobody goes to Easter Island to sit in the room. The grounds are lovely with beautiful flowers. All in all a pleasant experience

Let me preface my review my stating that the hotel cannot be compared to a hotel in the United States for the same price because the island is in the middle of nowhere, and they have to import building materials and other things at inflated costs. Because of this, expect there to be wear and tear and other minor things in most places on the island that are not high end. I went in with the expectation that I was going to be spending the majority of my time walking around the island which is what I did. As such, the hotel was a mostly a place to store my luggage, grab a bite to eat in the morning, and sleep at night. I considered anything beyond that a luxury. The hotel staff is friendly, and the staff members that do not speak english well will try to understand what you say or call someone that does speak it. They offer breakfast which is fairly uncommon on the island from what I understand for lower budget hotels. When I was there, that consisted of various juices, fruit, breads, cheeses, and some sandwich meats. The bed was comfortable, and the room was larger than I expected. The lobby was nice, and the dining area was appealing. Overall, I was more than satisfied with my stay. It was better than I expected it to be. I did have low expectations going in though because I researched the island's history before making any plans.

When u go to Easter Island you have to realise you r going to a very remote place. I.e. No 5 star hotels, just raw beauty. Really!! Not really suitable for children .

I got a very very good deal for this hotel, and I got a upgrade to a bigger and better room after I told the manager my pervious room was't that room. The stuff are nice and helpful. Hotel is very basic.

This is a common type hotel for Rapa Nui, outside the luxurios hotel in the area, I think this is a good option, you can park your car rental in the hotel and wlak to a decent breakfast. Also there market, handcraft souvenirs, car rentals, church and kaikai ballet are just around the corner.

The hotel is okay. A small breakfast is offered. Wireless internet is available, but it isn't strong in all rooms. They were helpful for all my needs. Wish the room had a/c, but they offer two fans, which worked fine. It's a great location though, near the main roads and within walking distance of some statues.
