"Perfect romantic place to celebrate my 60 th"

The guesthouse is well located, surrounded by an exquisite garden. Our room was spacious and had a very comfortable king bed with pristine linen and towels. The garden attracts varied bird life and it was lovely to wake up to birdsong .An added bonus was finding a fridge in our room as we prefer to drink tea with fresh milk! 10/10 on our rating scale

"Lovely quaint property, just had different expectations"

Cute property and gardens. Lovely added touches in the rooms and entrance.

They’ve changed their format. I was hoping for a bit of country hospitality which is why I booked here. But they have move to a lot rod an Airbnb format. Self check in and no interaction with hosts. Which is fine but not what I was expecting.

Location…. Close to town

Appreciate the utensils, cups, plates, bar fridge, coffee and water, need microwave however.

The Guestwood was very welcoming and clean.

My only comment would be that we were woken in the night by people walking about in the bedroom above ours.
