Lovely spacious room with views of the beautiful churchyard and hills beyond. Excellent location for exploring the shops of Chagford and local walks. A relaxing experience. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Delicious food.

The wonderful welcome from Graham and Mary. The location was perfect, situated in the village close to all amenities. Nothing was too much trouble. The food and service were outstanding.

"Great central location"

Great location and we were able to park right outside. Team were very friendly. The bedroom was very big with books, teas and coffees etc provided. Breakfast was nice.

We had the attic room and couldn’t stand up in the shower over the bath. The sink was plugged tight with water in it on arrival and we couldn’t remove it and there was no shampoo / conditioner available. Quite pricey in our opinion.

"Old style inn facing the church"

It is an old coach house, architecturally interesting, with quirky stairs and halls that wind around. The location is right across from St Michael the Archaengel church with a view from the restaurant (where a real chef prepares gourmet English food with local produce)

"A great place to stay in Chagford and central for Dartmoor"

We had a very warm greeting on arrival from Nick and shown to a warm comfortable room on the top floor. It overlooked the Church opposite and the hills of Dartmoor beyond. Mary and Graham are first class Landlords creating a friendly atmosphere and very relaxed. We enjoyed the evening meals on both nights in the comfortable bar . Very good breakfast and a central location to visit many great areas on Dartmoor. We will definitely return this Summer.

Nothing to fault. A very well run, homely ,comfortable good English Pub/Hotel
