Hotel de Su Merced

Great location and close to the main square, only a short walk down the hill. Carmen is a brilliant host and helped us book some flights to our next destination with Bolivia Air. Great breakfast too - we’d definitely stay again!

The room was cozy. The bed, pillow and the blanket is really good. The breakfast was good, but a limited selection of food. Staff are very passionate about their job. This hotel is very old fashion 1800'ish style. There is a WIFI with a speed of 30 Mbit connection, a bit slow but for enough for me. I am really grateful that the hotel did let me check in late at night, due to heavy flight delays. The room is very clean. There is a nice yard.

This hotel is clearly overrated with score of 9,4, when this is far from the real world. The room itself is very small and I paid extra for a Double Room with Private Bathroom, instead I got a the smallest room and with no double room. I overpaid the hotel literally, in additional of this, this is a breach of contract. There is no TV in the room & room feels sometimes a bit cold after sunset, and I requested a heater, but they don't have. This is a 2-3 star hotel, since this is just a room. This is the only hotel that does not offer taxi service. All the hotels I have stayed in La Paz, Santa Cruz and for the rest of the world offer taxi, I pay at the hotel directly with card, but not this hotel. I felt a bit lack of creativity from the hotel side, when I requested help/advises. This hotel is using an outdated technology when it comes to payment, they want me to scan a QR code and then afterwards spend 10 minutes to insert my credit card info. All the hotels I have been to in Bolivia, normally has a VISA/Master card machine or they normally withdraw money directly from booking.com, and this is not the case here. There is no USB plugs in the room. The furniture in the room is from the 1960'es, not really attractive and not modern. The door is not properly isolated, so I can hear everyone outside. This feedback is meant for you to improve yourself and try to accept and recognize the issues that I have mentioned in this feedback. Also the limited check in and check out time gave a problem for everyone. The hotel wanted me to purchase the booking from their own website, but this gave me lots of problem. I felt like the hotel tried to dictate what I should do, such as requesting me to use another website than booking.com, complaining to me that I booked a bigger room etc (then giving me the smallest room). I found it a bit strange, I never been to a hotel that someone is asking me to do something else of what I requested.

La dueña es muy amable, te explica absolutamente todo lo que te haga falta. La casa es muy grande y está arreglada con mucho gusto pero la habitación es pequeña, en cualquier caso suficiente para un par de días. Desayuno normal.

Muy bonito hotel excelente ubicación excelente servicio recomendable 100 por 100 sin duda repitere.

A Carmem nos recepcionou super bem, nos apresentou os pontos turisticos da cidade, indicou restaurantes e cafés, foi muito atenciosa. O café da manhã foi o melhor da minha viagem! O pão, bolo, e suco deliciosos!

Não ter secador de cabelo no banheiro.

Lindo o hotel! Atendimento diferenciado. E a localização privilegiada!

Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt! Die Zimmer sind schön & sauber. Die gesamte Unterkunft ist mit Sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war auch lecker. Tipp: Den Sonnuntergang sieht man von der Dachterasse noch besser als von Recoleta.

De kamer heeft ontzettend lekkere bedden en ook een ontzettend fijne douche met goede waterdruk. Het centrale plein is bereikbaar via een wandeling van ongeveer 10 minuten. Aanradee voor wie het oude centrum van sucre bezoekt.
