Maspalomas Resort by Dunas

Fuimos muy bien recibidos por el personal, siempre muy sonriente y disponible. Mención especial a Estela y Jorge, a quienes se puede encontrar en el área del restaurante, realmente estuvieron muy atentos con nosotros y fueron excelentes !!! Gran variedad de comida y de muy buena calidad. Yo, que soy celíaco (intolerante al gluten), adaptaron los platos para mí cuando fue necesario. ¡Todo perfecto!

La conexión wifi no era muy buena en nuestro bungalow.

Unfortunately we had a really bad experience with mice in our room. We saw one mouse walking over our son - while he was sleeping - and we ourselves felt a mouse in bed in the middle of the night. The next morning we found out they ate chocolate, damaged our luggage (also heavily the beds - they must have been there for much longer) and we found mice poop, in both beds and in the luggage. Already the days before there was a weird smell in the apartment (it also was not really clean on arrival), initially we linked the smell to our youngest since he is still wearing diapers, but now it seemed to be the mice. We received a small compensation, but definitely not sufficient compared to what we paid per night and our damaged luggage.

Staff were very friendly, especially in dining room. Location was in a calm environment and easy to walk to the beach. Great that I could collect coffee art anytime in the various machines spread over the compound.

Booking.com indicated that the bungalow has a bath and this was essential to me. This has also been mentioned on my booking confirmation. But when arriving at the resort, the reception mentioned that none of the bungalows have a bath tub, only a shower ( and this was confirmed when I went to the website of Dunas). I have informed booking .com to change this, but still not done. Furthermore, I had requested the resort for a bungalow in a quiet are of the compound, but was given a bungalow close to swimming pool and entertainment area. In bungalow itself, there are no plugs in the kitchen to for example connect the coffee machine. Although food was various, it tasted almost every day the same. Price of the bungalow too expensive for what you get

De bedden, en dat er dagelijks erg goed werd schoongemaakt. Ook was het voor kleine kinderen erg toegankelijk

Alles was prima maar wel wat gedateerd, ook voelde veel een beetje als massaproductie. Wat het in zekere zin ook is alleen verwacht ik toch iets meer verrast te worden voor ongeveer €700 per dag (2 volwassenen en 2 kleine kids).
