Staff accommodating, knowledgeable & ensured we (my husband & 2 children) were comfortable the entire stay very kid-friendly....BBC beach right at your door...but you need to hire a taxi to go anywhere as the property's location is not walking distance from Grand Anse beach or Spiceland mall, 40EC by hired minibus

What I enjoyed most was the beach right next to the resort. I also had an excellent relationship with the staff, who were friendly, proactive, and thoughtful. My room was outstanding and had everything I needed. All in all, I can look back on a fantastic stay!

A minor drawback was that I had to wait a bit longer for the hot water than I'm used to.

The property is safe and truly beachfront. The staff are pleasant and do what they can to accommodate your needs. The hotel is seriously dated and in need of upgrades. Resources are low, making it difficult to meet customers needs. During our stay we had issues with leaks, no hot water, TV that didn’t work. Staff seemed to try to resolve, 1 of 3 issues resolved. Loved Grenada but would not stay here again. If you’re on a budget and can work around some of these deficiencies it is doable.

The room HVAC did not work. There was what I believe was mold in the bathroom.

Great location, amazing views of the island and great beach on site of hotel.

The hotel has potential to be great and not just average for a number of reasons as listed below :- Sun beds, need replacing, the majority are damaged and not fit for purpose. There also need more as not enough for the guests staying at the hotel and there is a battle in the morning between guests to get. Staff, the reception team make you feel your are inconveniencing them when you ask a question or need assistance. Working in customer service industry myself I really saw this as the biggest weakness at this hotel. There are some great staff who really do provide a good service but they are the minority. Communication, there are serval events hotel runs weekly. These were not listed on the notice board and we only found out by receiving a call at the last minute of them happening. There seems to be a lack of daily management on site to motivate and drive the team to success. Please don’t see the above as a negative, more just feedback on how they can improve. I did enjoy my stay, it’s a location where you get to experience local culture, however I fear that if the Kalingo doesn’t invest it will get left behind by all the new hotels that can provide more…

The hotel looked just as advertised on the website, everything was very clear, the bed was very comfortable, a great night sleep. Super in the night was delicious and the breakfast was great, will definitely recommend a stay and will also visit again.
