When traveling with pets (dogs and cats), please note that an extra charge of INR 1500 per pet, per stay, applies. The extra charge includes the pet food and special cleaning of the room. As part of our continued commitment to enhance our property and services, the Tulsi Aangan at Suryagarh is undergoing maintenance work until the 30th of June 2023. All the guest services, including the restaurants, gym, pool, and evening performance shall be operational during the said activity. Mandatory Diwali Dinner charge INR 15,000 plus taxes per person applicable on 1st Nov 2024. Mandatory Christmas Eve Dinner charge INR 20,000 plus taxes per person applicable on 24th Dec 2024. Mandatory New Year dinner charges INR 25,000 plus taxes per person applicable on 31st Dec 2024. Mandatory Holi brunch charges of INR 20,000 plus taxes per person applicable on 14th Mar 2025. Children 8 years and above full Mandatory Meal Charges will be applicable.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. "Gorgeous hotel with lots of promise, but fell a bit short"

It's a gorgeous looking hotel with a stunning courtyard and beautiful grounds. The hotel itself is really nicely appointed with lovely features and interesting and eclectic artwork. Both restaurants are good with a nice variety of Indian and non-Indian food. Most of the staff and friendly, helpful and attentive although occasionally there was inconsistency in service levels. The morning musician/flautist during breakfast was a lovely touch.

The room we stayed in was large but was cheaply furnished. The Wi-Fi was weak and we lost reception often. Even though we stayed during the winter months when temperatures dip below 5c at night, the room had no heating. When we requested a portable heater, there was only one suitable plug point, illogically right near the bed. At these price points, offering Nescafe sachets in the room rather than a real coffee machine felt miserly. The front office/reception also offered no written material about the hotel nor the area, making a walk around the grounds or nearby tours unnecessarily difficult. Lastly, the swimming pool/spa felt way too public with a pathway that cuts through the spa area making it feel somewhat less inviting or luxurious.
