I asked for a quiet room NOT next to the lift and that was exactly where they placed me So after a long day of working and travelling i had to go back and request another room Then in the morning i was asked to settle a dinner bill which i did not have - i asked for the docket where i had signed for that meal and they were unable to produce it I was then shown a print out only of the bill which was rump steak etc - as i am a vegetarian - thats not possible It was like i had to prove that i was innocent - without the hotel giving me any proper documentation

Staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. We stayed here prior to starting our Nomad overland adventure and it was very handy for that reason. You can request a table mountain view room - would definitely suggest this as the other option is a desolate field with rubbish and men waiting around in cars. Shuttle to the V&A waterfront was handy!

Quality didn't match the price. Pretty expensive for a hotel in a rough-ish area. We had worn towels with holes in them and a leaking shower and hand basin.
