Aqua Mar Albufeira

Comfortable and modern apartment with kitchen and all the amenities. Winter season so just one night stay as part of a week long sightseeing trip in Portugal. Free internet in lobby area was good enough to upload pictures quickly. Only downside was hot water didn't last long - had to wait between showers (80 liters).

Olhos de agua is a lovely fishing village with good places to eat and local shops. The beaches are lovely and clean. Good walks, not noisy good for familes and couples Our third year here Local buses good for a day out

The apartment suited our needs. The hotel apartment was adequate, with all the amenities that you would want. Clean, and very spacious. However, it was very quiet and the staff were not very enthusiastic, which was probably because it was the end of the season. The road up to the apartments were poor, especially for a wheelchair, very bumpy. We hired an electric scooter, and it kept stopping because the road was so bumpy. The food was OK, but it seemed a bit of trouble to make anything. And no change in the till, that sort of thing.

The staff are courteous and helpful. There is plenty space in the rooms. There are good pools, and gym facilities.

Extremely basic apartments with no maintenance whatsoever, leaking shower, broken fridge, TV, fuse box, door handle, drawer and toaster, cleaners were good but seemed to have an issue with cleaning mirrors because they never did, reception staff uninterested with one lady in particular extremely rude, cheap apartments but definitely not cheerful or worth any money, would avoid

Lovely apartment/hotel in great location. Apartment was big with air conditioning and well equipped kitchen. My only mediocre gripe was we had one of the three rooms with a tiny shaded pool view balcony. It wasnt really comfortable to sit on as you couldnt see much from it! Other than that i would definately recommed it. ( just dont get rooms 102 104 or 106 )

You get what you pay for. Room was extremely clean and very spacious with towels changed everyday. The town it's self has a small beach and a small section of bars and restaurants. Taxis are quite expensive and you usually had to wait a while for one as it was August apparently. Loved Portugal and the weather was great but will next time stay in the old town as the town was was a taxi ride from everything.

Just what I was hoping for. Previous guest reviews proved accurate and described exactly what I was hoping for on this holiday.

We loved walking to the beach and all the local restaurants and bars.

As a couple, the Aqua Mar suited us well for a quiet week away in the sun.Small complex with bright & well maintained apartments.The staff were friendly & helpful.Would recommend rooms with pool view as balcony on other rooms were very small. Plenty of good Restaurants within walking distance with best ones probably located at the beach. Albufeira Old Town ten minutes drive away is well worth visit.
