Location was is their biggest asset and they know it.

The room rates are the same as a newer property. This property should have been torn down years ago. There was no door jamb insulation and cold air was coming into the room, which caused me to continuously adjust the heat. The room was tiny so a lot of time was spent adjusting the heater. The steps were made of stone tile and were dangerous when wet. It did rain that morning so the steps were tricky. I couldn't help but think that a fall down those steps might not be survivable. Maybe they need to be sued to stop their slumlording practice. Maybe the worst place I've stayed at in years and since I just got back from a cross country trip, that's saying a lot. These kind of people need to be stopped from scamming tired travelers.
