Maui Palms

The location was perfect. We had the beach and reef right on our doorstep. The accomodation was beautiful we couldn’t have wished for any better and the atmosphere was very relaxing, friendly and more than we had hoped for. The staff were amazing. Friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. They went above and beyond in their service. We felt like they were family and made some good friends with them. We stayed in one of the villas which were amazing, surrounded by beautiful gardens and amazing views of the pool and the beach/reef beyond. They offered good privacy as well. We highly recommend Maui Palms and look forward to being able to return one day. 5 stars from us.

This was our second visit to Maui Palms. We stayed here last October and loved it so much we returned for my husband's 60th birthday and brought two other couples with us. The front of the menu reads 'a little bit of perfect' and it couldn't be more accurate. The villas are gorgeous, surrounded by lush gardens and the pool is a few steps out your door. The beach is metres away with crystal clear lagoon style water that is perfect for snorkelling amongst some of the lovliest sea life and coral. There is no hustle and bustle like the bigger resorts, just quiet and peaceful surroundings. The food choices are many and the quality of the food is amazingly tasty! Breakfast is included if you book directly with the resort and we did a premium food package which included lunch, dinner (entree, main and dessert) and your villa stocked daily with soft drinks and water. The package is great value and if you decide to go on a day trip they will send lunch with you. There are two great pools to choose from. One is directly in amongst the villas and the other outside the apartments on the block next door. The service you will receive is nothing short of outstanding! The staff here are attentive and some of the most beautiful people you will ever have the privilege of meeting. The villas have all you need and are cleaned and amenities restocked daily if you need. Accommodation is very reasonably priced. If you are looking for a piece of paradise where you can fully unwind then I cannot recommend Maui Palms highly enough. The signage on the front fence says 'you are home' and it absolutely feels like that for us. We are already planning to return!! 🏝💚💙🏝

I had a wonderful stay — a very warm welcome, delicious food, a beautiful pool, and a stunning view over the lagoon. The room was very clean and extremely comfortable. I will definitely come back.

We had an amazing stay! The staff were so kind, welcoming and helpful. Nothing was ever too much to ask. There was a great balance of optional daily activities while still having plenty of space and privacy to properly relax. Stepping straight from the resort onto the beach was perfect for snorkelling, and it’s only a short walk to the Maui Bay jetty. The pools, hammocks, tennis court and gym were all fantastic, and we consistently had great food throughout our stay. The chef was excellent and the team also made a really good flat white! Litty Massage was also wonderful and such a relaxing experience. We absolutely loved our time here — the perfect chilled, relaxing holiday in Fiji

One small thing we didn’t personally enjoy was the reef walk. Although it was described as “soft coral”, at low tide we could feel coral crumbling beneath us while walking, which made us feel it would be better protected rather than walked on. We also found the taxi prices arranged through the resort pretty expensive — even compared to some larger commercial resorts we visited along the Coral Coast. However, we easily found much cheaper local drivers and also used the local bus, which worked really well.

Location on the beachfront was great, facilities kept really clean. All the staff knew your name from the time you arrive. Very helpful with anything you ask about.

For one reason or another the salads were never really fresh which was a shame as all the rest of the food was really nice.

Staff are fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Rooms are great, quiet area behind a busy road. Bonus of the pool beside the beach

Big luxurious apartment with kitchen - it was upgraded free of charge. Manager could not have been more helpful. Food was brought to the apartment-good quality and big portions. 2x Swimming pools was close, clean and heavenly. The snorkeling in the sea was fabulous and safe up to the coral ridge. Really enjoyed the gym as well.
