Very comfortable spacious room & bathroom. We choose it partly for its history & loved all the wooden furniture & floors. Good choice at breakfast.

A water station would very welcome though it seems this is not usually provided in hotels? A kettle makes better tea than a machine!

Het bed lag erg goed en de locatie is perfect als je een lange reis hebt gemaakt en daarna het museum wil bezoeken dat lag voor ons op nog geen 8 minuten lopen.

De badkamer viel helaas verschrikkelijk tegen. De zeep pompjes waren smerig. Ook hadden wij gekozen voor een kamer met bubbelbad tegen een meerprijs. Het bad was smoezelig en erin douchen onhandig. De douchekop liet amper water door. De echte teleurstelling kwam toen we (nadat ik het eerst had schoongemaakt) het bubbelbad aanzetten. Het was zo vies er kwamen allemaal bruin-witte vlokken uit. Omdat we ons er echt op verheugd hadden heb ik het bad nog twee keer gevuld (zonde van al dat water!) maar de smerigheid werd niet minder. Dus echt onwijs jammer want de eerste indruk was geweldig. Prachtige kamer mooie badkamer maar een vieze badkamer en een meerprijs betalen zodat je in andermans ranzigheid mag zitten vind ik onacceptabel. Zonde van een prachtig hotel

Inrichting en authentieke uitstraling door donkere hout

Er was helaas geen fijn welkom, werden zelfs een beetje afgesnauwd door.de mevrouw achter de receptie dat we te vroeg waren. Ontbijt was beneden verwachting, veel was steeds op.
