Food was exceptional. Service was exceptional also

Booking in was simple and the staff were brilliant as we had messed up the order for our 2 rooms and they changed it and gave one visitor a discount on the room even though it was not their problem. We had dinner in the restaurant and there was an excellent selection on the menu. Rooms were very comfortable and clean and had one of the best showers on our stay. Further to this, one of the guests left their handbag in the hotel and was on the Ferry when it was discovered, after phoning in a panic as the ferry was to leave in 10 minutes - a staff member jumped in to a car and drove it to the ferry port in time for us to get the handbag. That is way and beyond any service from a hotel I can ever imagine. Grateful and relieved does not cover it.

Nice hotel. We used it to catch the morning ferry and it did the job. Nice bar with live music on the Friday.

We couldn't cool down the room, even though we turn the radiator off and opened the window.

Great location, clean and comfortable, friendly and helpful staff

The bar/restaurant food could be better but was still acceptable
