Hotel Fjalar

Loved the architecture and style. There was obviously a lot of history in the hotel. The staff was super nice and it was always a pleasure talking to them. The breakfast really included options for everyone.

Maybe the location was bit far from the centrum

Friendly staff, quiet peaceful property and location.

Quite a walk to Salo

Für finnische Verhältnisse ok, Zimmer gut, parken möglich. Aber kein Restaurant. Sauna und Pool sind…. Eher witzig als nutzbar.

Good breakfast selection

Very expensive for a standard hotel Shame would put me off returning

I liked the bicycle/stroller ramps down the stairs to the rooms. The staff was kind enough to let me keep my bicycle in my room on the balcony. They also gave good recommendations for restaurants nearby. The breakfast had a lot of selection: I liked the espresso maker too.

The rooms were non-smoking but the balconies were not, so I could not open the balcony door for fresh air because the smell of cigarette smoke came in from the balcony of the neighbouring room.

What a great little hotel and ex home to the Nokia boss , very friendly and helpful staff , nice breakfast with everything you need , the rooms were very comfortable and clean and there was a small swimming pool and sauna , easy 10min walk to local shop and pizza place , 15min walk into Salo itself

Couldn’t find fault with this hotel and it’s staff

Location is lovely. Picturesque and quiet. Friendly staff and ample space in the room. Breakfast was plentiful and varied.

WiFi was patchy. Difficult to watch TV streaming services.
