Pine Trees Hotel

Beautiful location , staff were lovely, great room and bathroom , loved the complimentary snacks and the cake!! Had a disturbance one night ( not the fault of the hotel ) but it was dealt with very well. Excellent customer service.

Friendly staff, great restaurant, beautiful buildings with perks like free snacks and super delicious cake at 3pm.

The original room we were offered had a tiny wasp's nest in it - probably because the windows didn't have screens. We were moved to another room which we were told was an "upgrade." The room was probably more expensive because it slept 4 people, but there were only 2 of us. We liked the first room a lot better. Also, we weren't offered any help with our luggage as we moved from one room to the next (and the rooms were in two different buildings).

The room was beautiful and very comfortable. I was cycling the Etape Caledonia the next day which meant a very early start. Staff put on breakfast bags for the cyclists from 5.30am as we would have left before breakfast. Lovely setting also for the hotel with easy access to town centre.

It was one of the best experiences in Scotland we have received during last 10 years traveling there. Quality on every step, very good culinary in restaurant and on the breakfast table. Amazing location with beautiful park around. I will be back soon

Only thing to complain is the fact, that we had too short time for this amazing place !!

I couldn’t have imagined a better place to celebrate my birthday. It was absolutely wonderful. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that our room was already available from 11 a.m., and the view from the “Wild Cherry” room was simply breathtaking. The royal-style bathroom, incredibly comfortable bed, and luxurious toiletries made our stay exceptionally relaxing. The food and drinks were of the highest quality, and the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. After check-out, we were allowed to stay longer at the hotel, which was very helpful due to our late departure. We will definitely come back. Finally, I must mention that the garden, the sounds of the birds, and the surrounding area created an absolutely unforgettable experience.
