"Good value for money"

Good clean room. Staff extremely friendly & helpful. Had good meal in their cafe. Was a good hotel for our one night stay. Close to bus station for our trip to Venice.

"Excellent hostel just a bit far from down town"

This hostel is located a ways from downtown and the train station so expect a 25 minute walk. The facilities are excellent for a hostel and the staff were fantastic. I got a free shot in the bar and they pointed me in the right direction to find some good local food.

A very clean & typical hostel. I had a private room which was ideal for my stay. The place is about 10 minutes by tram from the main railway station. The biggest plus about this place is the staff. The lady on reception was really friendly & helpful. Thanks.

"Cheerful, prompt service and near grocery and tram"

The staff at Funk Lounge Hostel is the nicest I've ever encountered (thank you, Anya, Eniss, and Maya!). For me they drew up a comprehensive walking tour of Zagreb and recommended good restaurants and museums (be sure to visit the Museum of Broken Relationships). My single room was clean and the wifi signal was strong. Lots of eateries nearby. When I return to Zagreb, I'll return to Funk Lounge Hostel.

"Good for the price"

hotel staff was freindly, OK its a hostel but hotels in Zagreb are few, and at this price I got the whole room. The little resturant next door was good. Cant beat the price

"AMAZING"

This place was so great to stay, I wish I could of planned better and stayed a few nights rather than just one! All the staff were the friendliest most helpful people! The rooms were clean and the kitchen made you feel like you are at home. This whole place has such a great vibe! Also close to a tram stop so its easy acces to where ever you need to go! The wifi was quick and everywhere and did I mention how amazing the staff were?!?!!!

"Exceptional"

The hostel is fun. They had scheduled a Backpackers Party to start at 2200 and give a complimentary shot when you arrive. The rooms were more quiet than I had expected and very clean. We had a private room with bathroom. I would stay there again. There is parking out front, where I parked and got 2 tickets, but was told to ignore the tickets since I had Germany tags not Croatian. The hostel is right on the trolley line and very close to a park with the zoo. My sons, 9 and 12, soon learned the area and system.
