"Affordable, clean, but noisy"

6.0

The hotel was okay overall. Relatively clean and comfortable. There was confusion at check-in about the rooms we booked. We had booked one room for 4 people and another room for 2 people. At check-in it seemed like there weren't any 4 people rooms but I didn't entirely understand the problem because my Spanish isn't great. They ended up giving us an extra room for our original price so it all worked out (2 people per room). The heaters in the room weren't the best. We had an issue where the hotel ran out of gas for the hot water but they fixed the problem within an hour. Out of our three rooms, one of the showers was kind of terrible but the others were fine. Most of the rooms were pretty noisy where you could hear everything on the street. I would recommend taking earplugs. The free breakfast everyday was good and there was plenty of cocoa tea whenever you wanted it. The location was good and it was just a 10 minute walk to the main square. While the staff did not speak a lot of English, they were all very nice and tried to be very accommodating.

"Very noisy hostel but in good location"

4.0

We booked 4 nights but we stay only 1 night. It was noisy all night. We noticed that glass in windows does not have any seals. We moved to very close another hostel.

"nice, pleasing hotel."

8.0

it is a good hotel..not great but ideal for low maintenance people. i traveled with my 11 year old, there was always hot water and the breakfast was decent; bread, eggs, jelly, tea , coffee and tea..staff was helpful. its a little out of the way, but for the price, its good. nothing to regret..

"Best Staff Ever!"

10.0

The staff was unbelievable. After a crazy travel experience taking 25+ hours and losing my luggage we finally arrived at Yanantin Guest house where we were greeted with great smiles, light snacks, and some tea. Without knowing it, my friend and I were given a two room suite to stay in. The staff was unbelievable helping me locate my lost luggage. They even went to airport themselves to pick it up during our two day trip to Machu Piccu. It is one or two blocks away from being an ideal location, but that very slight inconvenience was worth it. Plus, taxis in Cusco cost basically nothing, so if you don't feel like walking you can treat yourself to a cab. Overall a great experience.

"Hotel Yanantin"

6.0

Reasonably priced with free transportation to the hotel. Continental breakfast was included but would recommend you buy your own breads, Their's were stale and instant coffee a bit overpowering. Room was satisfactory but needed a good dusting especially the ledge behind the bed. Staff were courteous and helpful though overworked.

"Fantastic staff, great location!"

10.0

The staff at the hostel were fantastic, I needed to change my dates and they did so without an extra charge, they did everything they could to make my stay a confortable one, were always there to make my breakfast whether it was 5:30am or 10:30am. The location was perfect, right behind the main road that takes you directly to the main plaza, a short walk away and the market a short walk in the other direction, the rooms are large and comfortable and the showers are well pressured and warm. The only bad thing were the heaters, they dont heat up the room which can get cold at night, however the beds are fitted with warm blankets and doonas. I would definately stay here again.

"Great stay."

8.0

Cute place ...private, secure, full of character. Hospitality was warm and very helpful. Room for 1 traveler was perfect...nice flatscreen, big bathroom...pleasantly surprised. Small downfall...only one hairdryer for hotel. Other than that, great place would stay again.
