Tall Trees Bed & Breakfast

A very quiet and comfortable place to stay within easy driving or walking to the waterfront and downtown. Very friendly host with great knowldge of the surrounding area. A good choice of tasty foods for breakfast. Arrangements can be made for late arrivals.

The pictures do not reflect the property. It has a rodent problem. I stayed at the accommodation twice only because I could not cancel for a refund. The stays were 5 days apart. One the first stay a mouse chewed on some of our belongings. I informed the host of the problem. Upon my return the host disputed my claim of a rodent infestation. That night I had visual confirmation as I saw a mouse struggling to get out of our garbage can. Don't stay here.

Andrea was excellent to deal with, made extra effort for getting in late from the ferry to get into our room.

Nice home on a cozy residential side street. I stayed in the SOUTH suite and it was enormous. And very comfy. Easy walk —easier drive of 3 minutes!—into “town” for museums, restaurants etc. (Rec’d The Crest, Dolly’s and Arabisk) Very tasty breakfast in the morning served up with Andrea’s homemade bread.

Friendly service. Good breakfast and coffee. Enjoyed our stay.

While the proprietor is quite hospitable the place needs some repair. She has many irons in the fire that keeps her busy.
