Breezes Beach Club & Spa – Half Board

Breezes is beautiful facility - you are isolated so if you are looking for nightlife, this isn't the place. However, I travelled solo (I'm in my early 50s but don't need the 'clubbing scene') and this is more for families and couples - think I was probably the only single person there, but it was just a two night stay. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I didn't use any of the water sports but understand they are quite good. Spa is very nice. Small fitness center but limited hours. Unfortunately early Feb is prone to lots of seaweed, and there definitely was so didn't see the beautiful blue waters clearly.

this place was more like a "filler-booking" to complete our stays in chumbe and nungwi beach. but it turned out to be the best. reasonable rates, professional but hearty staff, facilities without issue. swimming was ok at medium / high tide. at low tide interesting walk with "ali the fisherman" :). hired a fisherboat to blue lagoon, nicest coral garden we have seen in indian ocean ( we liked it more than chumbe). but what a sunburn we got ... beware... for south africans: quite nice to reach with direct flight from joburg

Attractive buildings on nice beach, good food and drinks but slightly surly staff and absolutely everything down to a bottle of water was only available at over priced extra cost. Ongoing maintenance works also meant our stay was set to the sounds of a buzz saw at frequent intervals throughout the day.

Their policy is, total relaxation for guests, so no tv, phone or internet service available in rooms. I still didn't figure how to get room service. Otherwise it is an excellent place, and would recommend it to others.

If you want crowds, raucous behaviour or discos, go elsewhere. On the other hand, if you want a quality hotel with a great beach, excellent and helpful staff, superb food and a relaxing experience, then Breezes is just the place for you.

Everything was perfect. I would have rated it 5 stars, but the price was a bit unreasonable given the "deluxe room" they gave us which looked like every other room w/o a sea view.
