Meticulously kept, I was honestly shocked at how well maintained this older motel was. I worked in hotels for 20 years and travel quite a bit, this place is one of the best older motels I've stayed in.

"Inefficient Management and Phone Service"

Made a reservation over the phone since there is no place on their website to make a reservation online. Then called and cancelled 2 months before the stay. Since the person did not speak clear English I called again 2 days later to verify it was cancelled. Today I got charge for the stay as a No Show. After much arguing and interrupting (on their part) he finally agreed to refund half of the charge. Not sure if I will even see that but (A) it's time to enter this century and make a website where you can make a reservation, and (B) do not berlieve these people if they say your reservation has been cancelled.

We had a family room and it was perfect! The A/C was cold and the room was very clean and comfy.

My only negative comment would be the room we had was facing their marquee light and the shades were very thin so, it was like daylight all night in the room!
