Great location, walkable to both the town and sea front. Lovely room in a stable yard block with own entrance. Very clean and comfortable.

Exceptionally clean rooms on the ground floor in the courtyard, the door to each room opens to the courtyard. All new furnishings and finishes, nice sheets, plank floors (no carpet). Rooms have excellent lighting and also are pleasant and bright during the day due to large windows. The location is convenient, just minutes' walk from the train station, the beach & esplanade, and shops and restaurants. Proprietors were friendly and accommodating, good communication and easy to get in touch with. The room was also exceptionally quiet and snug - like a cocoon- I never heard another guest or street traffic over a stay of several days. I stayed during Storm Amy and barely noticed the wind outside, there were no drafts - actually it's surprising how comfortable the room stayed even without having the heat on (compared to other guest houses I have stayed in in Ayr, which are often on the chilly side for me). I guess it must be the thick walls & insulated windows and a good renovation? I also appreciated that the room was sufficiently dark at night; the courtyard lights are not on all night (they're activated by motion) & the room has good blackout curtains.

The size of the room felt adequate, but given the size of the bed there's not a lot of floor space to move around in.

Totally excellent location and so handy to all amenities - given that we normally self cater, the fact that breakfast and dinner was on the doorstep was awesome... Best French Toast just around the corner. And great walks and excellent and communicative hosts. Was as described, so we knew what amenities we would not have, but pretty sure if we had of asked, we could have stored any items that needed to have been chilled. Sincere thanks!

When we first arrived we were greeted by the owners Son in law who greeted us warmly and told us everything about the cottage we were staying in the personal touch goes along way. The facilities it's self were fantastic everything you need for a weekend away a real home from home and we will certainly be booking again in the future. Thank you so much for making our weekend such a spectacular one. To the hosts who were on their holidays your son in law did you well, we spoke about his love for old cars. Certainly worth 5 Stars from us as a couple.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like

Lovely premises, very comfortable and quiet. In an excellent location for the centre of Ayr.

Modern, clean and comfortable rooms, the location was walkable and easy to find. Parking perfect, or easy if you arrive by train.
