St Edmunds Guest House

Hosts were amazing, couldn't do enough for us. Hotel was very clean, and nicely decorated. Lots of secure parking and in a quiet area. Breakfast was also a big hit, the host happily catered for dietary needs. We're already planning our next visit.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was exceptional and the location was only a few hundred yards from the seafront.

Perfect location to recce walks along the SW Coastal path and attractions. Good choice for breakfast and was served piping hot and at the requested time. Staff were super efficient, very friendly, and informative. I used public transport a lot during my stay. St. Edmunds is very close to the railway and bus stations. There is an excellent bus service to all the other local towns.

Shower was small but acceptable. Otherwise nothing else.

Great location, close to sea front and town centre, ie shops and restaurants. It was great to have an off street parking space, easily accessed from the main road. The hosts were both very friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for either of them.

What a gem. It's such a lovely place to stay! On arrival, Roger was on hand to give me a warm welcome and took the time to answer all my queries. Marvellous breakfasts each morning; always served with a smile and a chat from Linda and Roger were a perfect start to my day. My room was very comfortable, perfect for a single traveller and roomy with everything needed. Their attention to detail in the decor in all areas creates a joyous atmosphere

Breakfast was freshly made with a great choice. Roger& Linda are the perfect hosts. & nothing is too much trouble & very helpful & informative of the area. We have stayed here many times before & always have the perfect stay in Paignton at St Edmunds Guest House.

There was nothing not to like. The rooms are checked every day. You have a choice of breakfast & time . Easy access to the property with parking as well at no extra charge. Everywhere is fresh & clean.

a small bedside table by one of the beds would have been useful, anther shelf in the bathroom for toiletries, and something that is missing in most hotel rooms, a table with a socket close by for hairdryer and a mirror above it
