The Wilton Guest House

We were unaware from earlier info that one was expected to arrive by 6pm, and unfortunately being unavoidably caught in road hold-up we arrived at 6-20pm. Instructed to tel two numbers, I tried several times and left messages as there was no response. An hour later I received a return call with unacceptable excuses and we gained access soon afterwards. We realised that we had stayed previously and there have been some technical improvements but we shall not return. The room was cramped and neither TV nor wifi worked, but breakfast was cheerily and efficiently served. Some other guests seemed quite content with the hospitality they had received.

a lovely 3 day break in a fantastic county. Guest House was very convenient for Weymouth beach and shops, restaurants, etc. Small but clean and comfortable room, owner and staff very friendly and lovely breakfast. Parking permits required so make sure you call guest house to get yours.Only problem for us was noise from sanitation system. Everything, including toilet and waste water is via a very noisy sani flush system that wakes the house so try not to go to the loo at night and be prepared to be woken if others do. Shame because otherwise this stay was fantastic

The Wilton is well located and comfortable. Excellent service and good, cooked to order breakfasts were enjoyed by our party. Recommended for a centrally located, good value stay.

We stayed for 2 nights with our 6-month old baby. It was an enjoyable stay and especially the staff were very nice and attentive - organising baby bed, helping with luggage etc. Also the breakfast options were very good, especially for a B&B. I'd definitely stay here again.

An excellent place to stay. The Room was clean, the Breakfast fine. The owner took our luggage up for us. And as I have a medical condition, they even gave me an extra pillow. Definitely going back there, and next year.
