The Trinity

It was lovely walkable for the darts, friendly staff very helpful

We had a lovely stay at the trinity double bed comfy and clean fresh sheets. Bunk beds in kids room ok bit squeaky. Plenty of tea and coffee in room.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT PLACE to anybody as my family and myself had a terrible experience. We were not offered the room we actually booked on the website. The room we were given upon arrival was small for four people two adults and two children in one small room for 3 days, it was dark and we bearly could breath. No privacy compared to the room we actually booked online. When we enquired about it we were told that was the room we booked which was not. That room we booked online was the only room avaible for a family sleep 4 at that time with privacy separated room with bunk bed for children and one double bed. The room was separated by a door. No picture on our booking to show as evidence. Our given room was dirty with dust in places chlothes and illegal substances were found in one of the drawers we threw in the bin and a nebuliser was also found in the bunk bed which means the room was not thoroughly clean and checked for the next customer. We did not get any housekeeping service at all during our 3 days stay. On their website it stated no towels and bed sheets available i had to ring the guest house to clarify that, i think they should update their website. The toilet was not working properly struggled to flush. In addition the reviews on the website stated excellent for that guest house which i think did not match our experience which i feel was very poor unless people are being treated differently according to preferences. As a family we will never go back there.

The Hotel decoration is tired and in needs to be updated, there was also cleanliness issues with hairs in the towels and on the bathroom sink upon arrival, we did get a good welcome though and were helped with on site parking and assistance with the TV remote.

Comfortable

The stay was very nice and the owners were hospitable. Although the room was freezing and when asked if they could put the heating on we was told it was on but the radiators were flat cold. Lucky we had a hairdryer which did the job of heating the room for us :). Would stay there again, defiantly. Great for the money.

Very comfortable. The Breakfast was very good. The owners were very friendly.

I left really relaxed as David the owner, make the place like a home from home . Great breakfast every morning and its only a 10 minute walk to the beach or the railway station . A great base for exploring the Ridings of Yorkshire

As per other reviews is in need of refurbishment, but that said the room was clean, the bed was comfy and the room was quite spacious. Good proximity to the promenade and seafront about 10 mins walk. No breakfast included as not booked directly but cost of room was fair.

Had a comfortable stay although my daughters room shower was suspect with missing shower head and very very low. Rooms were very small but sufficient. Breakfast was an additional cost and to be fair, bed and breakfasts that other family members used on this trip were less expensive and breakfasts were included. The new owners were very pleasant and accommodating so as such I would have no problems staying again with them in the hope they do invest in the property a little going forward as they suggested they were going to do. I’ve stayed on a lot worse for a lot more!
