The Belmont

Did not require breakfast, but my room was perfect for me on the ground floor being a visitor in my 80's. It was in a good position for trips out to local beauty spots.

It was fine for me.

The room was beautiful and completely exceeded my expectations! The bed was large, allowing us to get a good rest and relax after a long day of sightseeing. We will definitely choose this room again next time we come!

Staff were very friendly and welcoming, room was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Ideal location easy to get to.

Wonderful building with loads of character. Room was perfect and breakfast menu and avalable items were just superb. Des and Linda are the perfect hosts, thank you we will be back.

Nothing, everything was perfect!

Lynda & Des were fantastic hosts. They were friendly, professional and always on hand to help with questions about the local area or recommendations. The breakfasts were exceptional! Anything that you might require for a breakfast was available and the cooked breakfast options were all very tasty, well cooked and served in a timely manner with a friendly face. The available trust box system for snacks and goodies was a really nice touch if you fancied a treat at any time of day or night. Also a wide range of holiday essentials were available to purchase if you forget anything or run short. Again, a really nice touch.

Only one very minor point during our whole stay, we had occasional instances of low water pressure with the shower. We mentioned this to our hosts as we left, but not as a point of complaint, purely for honest feedback. It did not detract from the enjoyment or comfort of our stay in any way as we were on holiday and able to fully enjoy the Belmont's facilities.
