The Greyhound Hotel

Lovely, food, staff and location.

Room shabby and needs TLC. Shower and sink flooded . Tried to charge me twice .

As expected a 1770 built hotel with lots of the original features. Recently changed hands. New owners still finding their way and stamping their own mark on service.

Good stay, very good service and people.

Wouldn’t return. Hotel is tired, wallpaper coming away on the ceiling and mould on the walls and ceiling of the bathroom.

Great stay bar area small a few cobwebs in the bathroom but overall very good

The traffic was very noisy. There was a new flat screen TV propped on the suitcase stand. The old wall mounted TV did not work. A young man from the bar helped me move the new one as I did not need it. The wifi was rather erratic.

Really lovely hotel, visited with our dog, room was clean and spacious, fantastic Breakfast with lots of choice and free parking

The accommodation perhaps needs an update and is a bit tired but was very comfortable and endearing in a quirky way. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. They obviously work very hard at running the establishment. No complaints with the food and thought the breakfasts were lovely especially the vegetarian option. I would happily stay again, thought it was good value.
