"Exceptional"

Lovely historic building now ‘pub with rooms’ in centre of small town, walking distance from Matlock Bath. Food was extra special, very well thought out and ‘mid upscale’. Rooms are traditional but smart. Recommend, especially if you like good food

We were grated by a lovely lady and showed to our room every quickly. Room was a good size as was the bath room. They only criticism would be that the room was extremely hot. They do provide fans would was a help but still very warm.we had a very good Sunday roast in the evening in the hotel restaurant. All in all very good

"A little gem of a place "

Fabulous one night stay. The room was huge, the bed was too and so comfortable. The whole hotel was very clean. The staff were really helpful, couldn’t do enough for me. I ate dinner and breakfast both were delicious and the service was spot on. Only downside was the noise from the road til late and early morning but it didn’t spoil the experience for me. So good to see an old building being used so well. Would definitely stay again.

"Excellent"

It was amazing, staff were very friendly. The only issue was mattress and pillow. To soft, uncomfortable. Other than that, it was perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

"Great stay"

Amazing Food. Friendly staff, always ready to help. Room was a bit tired, but we’re still in a pandemic! Parking could be difficult but understandable as part of the parking had to be taken up by the outdoor seating area (again due to COVID 19). With everything being taken into consideration, I was very happy with our stay at The Greyhound
