Guests with children must inform the property in advance of the number of children and their respective ages as different rates are applicable according to their age. Please note that facility fees apply to children using existing beds. Please note that the maximum occupancy of the room includes all children and cannot be exceeded under any circumstances. For extra guests exceeding the room occupancy, guests will be asked to separate rooms and additional charges will apply. Guests may not be accommodated if there is no availability. Please inform the property in advance if you have any food allergies or dietary needs. For children aged 0 to 5, bedding and meals are not included in the price. Additional fees apply for bedding and meals. For dinner-included reservations, a Japanese meal is served between 17:30 and 20:00.Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the property’s public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests. Freundliches Personal, sauber, komfortabel, tolles Abendmenü/interessante Erfahrung.

Frühstück sicher sehr gut, aber für Europäer ungewohnt. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt trotz des hervorragenden Essens und Services unserer Meinung nicht. Dazu ist die gesamte Anlage etwas zu sehr in die Jahre gekommen + Getränke und privates Onsen kosten extra. Durch die Nähe am Seh ist das Freiluftbad eher etwas für Insekten-unempfindliche Menschen.

Staying at Biwako Hanakaido was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. Our room was incredible and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. With regards to the facilities, they were fantastic, as was the onsen. The meals were also exceptional.

We truly enjoyed our stay and felt incredibly welcome from the very beginning. The staff were exceptionally kind and even picked us up from the train station, which made our arrival so easy and stress-free. The room was absolutely beautiful, with a stunning view that made our stay even more special. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. I’m especially grateful that my meals were carefully adapted to accommodate my vegan diet, it really meant a lot! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and memorable stay!

We loved the whole setup. The place was extremely clean, rooms comfortable, staff very friendly and efficient, breakfast and dinner excellent. As this was our base for 3 night our meals were served in private room which was a nice touch.
