River Valley Inn & Suites

I was I was shocked that the hotel would charge us 1 hours prorated room rate for checking in a little early. We ended up only 10 minutes prior and they did not charge us but That whole idea was ridiculous

Bed was comfortable. Did not like that outside door did not lock

Clean. Roomy. Bright. Good location. Nearby restaurant and convenience store/gas station. Nice large tv. Comfortable bed.

I stayed here for 5 nights. It was night 4 before any housekeeping came in to clean. Also, it seems like they have the ability to shut off your cable tv service in the early morning of your check out day. The spectrum cable provided is exceptional but feel it's odd to cut it off the last morning of your stay.

Arrived 15 min early. Was told couldn’t check in. Left and came back and then it took 12 minutes to get checked in?! Got to both rooms given and furniture was pulled away from walls and multiple mouse traps along the walls. With the 15 min of delay the rooms could’ve been put back together for us. No hot food was provided for breakfast though the equipment was there, sitting empty. VERY DISAPPOINTING STAY. WILL NOT STAY THERE AGAIN.

Drain in bathroom needs to be fixed. Other than that clean

Location near skiing, location near dining, warm pool and hottub were all highlights for our family that wanted a small overnight trip from the cities to hit the slopes. We were the only visitors on a Sunday night which gave the whole place to ourselves. The rooms were basic but comfortable.

Everything fit our needs perfectly, even though little exceeded our expectations. This was a great value that was convenient for our specific ski trip. There were unusual rules posted about use of the pool (eg 1 party at a time, 1 hour limit, once per stay). We happened to stay on a slow night but would have been very frustrated if we couldn't access the pool, which was large enough to fit plenty. The breakfast was adequate but not great...boring in fact: waffles and syrup, cheap bagels, cereal and a few other offerings.
