Grand Hotel des Bains

Super tight restrictions around using the pool combined with an insistance that check-out time was 11am (despite showing 12 noon on my hotels.com booking) conspired to mean that we didn't get to use the pool. Reception showed absolutely no inclination to find a compromise. It cut no ice that we'd booked and detoured specifically for this well-advertised feature. Otherwise, I want to like this hotel and town but without relaible access to the pool and a vast improvement in ability of staff to resolve simple problems I have to admit defeat and bypass this one in future. Certianly was not worth the extra time and money on this occasion.

A CE MOMENT LA ILS NE RESTENT PLUS GRAND MONDE. BON RESTAURANT EGALEMENT. LE SEUL BEMOL EST LE PETIT DEJEUNER A 12€ CHER POUR CE QUI EST PROPOSE.

Service et personnel très agréable, hôtel confortable et bien placé.

Uitstekend hotel met goed restaurant en bar aan pleintje bij hotel de ville en grenzend aan de hoofdstraat (wat lawaai door verkeer). Vriendeljjke bediening. Kamers modern ingericht en comfortabel

VISITE DE SALINS LES BAINS

Chambre assez petite mais entièrement refaite (chambre 1), propre et calme. Chambre à 90 euros, un peu chère mais accès direct à l'espace relaxation (à 9,80 euros l'entrée par adulte) inclus dans le prix. Donc dans l'ensemble, c'est correct. A noter que le restaurant de l'hôtel est fermé le dimanche soir et on a été redirigés vers le restaurant du casino juste à côté (Prévoir un budjet pour ce restaurant, par ailleurs excellent). Arrived after making a detour to stay at a nice hotel. The hotel restaurant was closed on Monday at 6:00pm, and the hotel staff said something should be open in town, no assistance provided. The room was cold and the bathroom towel heater was off and when I took a towel off it was totally rusty. There was a leak above the window with we had to put a bucket under. When I spoke with the Hotel staff in the morning there response to my concerns were that they are renovating this winter, no offer of a discount orally any attempt at sympathy. Likely one of my worst hotel experiences from a perspective of expectation to reality.
