Logis Hôtel La Villa Boucicaut

Very good and convenient for an overnight stay while driving through France. Rooms fairly small and basic, nice bathroom. We would use again.

We had a relaxing 2 night stay. Madame was exceptionally helpful. Facilities were good, including a spa which we enjoyed after a day cycling. Breakfast was excellent with great variety. Our only negative comment is that our shower head attachment was broken.

Accueil sympa ,chambres agréables, petit dej copieux.

Ontvangst was prettig. Kamer was netjes en verzorgd. Douche en toilet waren schoon en net

My husband and I arrived at this hotel at 3:30 to discover that not only could we not check in until 5:00pm we could not drop our bags off or gain entry as the place was closed up. After a short wait a very kind lady opened the door for us and then jumped into a taxi. we waited to see if "someone" was coming but no one did. As it was pouring with rain we settled in reception to wait, at 5:00pm another couple arrived and the male telephoned a number he had been given to alert the staff. On arrival the other couple were checked in and shown their room, we waited and waited because the receptioist ignored us as she wenat about her busines doing ???? when we finally approached the receptionist it was to discover that when my husband and I were discussing our next stop the night before we were talking about two different hotels and we were not booked in at this hotel!!! She pointed us in the compleatly wrong direction and off we went. If her manner of dealing with guests, who I assume pay her salary, leaves a lot to be desired

We spent our first and last nights here on our 170k mini tour around Burgundy. Hotel was lovely, reasonably priced, wonderful rooms, comfortable rooms and beds. The manageress really was hostess with mostess....she was friendly, welcoming and helpful and recommended a wonderful restaurant 5 minute walk from hotel. If, as we are likely to be, back in this area in the future we will definitely look to stay here again. Oh, and there is the cutest most stressed (?), laid back Cairn terrier called Penelope hanging around.
