Angel Hotel

Lovely stay and the very friendly staff. The room was so nice and a very comfy bed with a excellent sleep.Would recommend to family and friends.

The hotel is steeped in history, which made it so interesting. However the water (possibly due to the age of the building) took around 4-5 minutes to run hot, I found this to be a massive waste. Also although very clean, the carpet in my room appeared to have had a moth infestation so not very pleasant.

Didn’t make up the room one day hairs in sink n tub few staff around

Stayed here overnight, room bigger than expected as had a separate seating are which was rather nice. Only one issue is that taps had to be turned for awhile until water flowed. Apart from that, all very good

Shower was cold so used tap shower and its fitting had a bad leak.

I had a good night there. It is quiet and I can sleep well to get ready for my next day for a conference. Thank you.

This is a beautiful and vintage hotel with friendly staff; however, it is difficult to sleep at night due to the noise from the street and the bin lorry that operates around midnight.

We were greeted by friendly receptionist who showed us to our room and assisted with some of our luggage. Our room was very spacious with a 4 poster king size bed, great size bathroom with a bath and great shower. Everything is on your door step! Very comfortable and convenient. Many thanks.

Brilliant stay, right in heart of Guildford.

Who leaves one biscuit for two guests? Central heating did not work even when turning up thermostat. Someone previously had been smoking in the room as the area outside of the window was full of cigarette butts. Reception not there when we arrived, had to phone to get someone to come. Average stay in an average hotel
