Hotel Bran Belvedere

Nice service. Good standard rooms. Located on the country side some distance from Bran.

Just spend this hotel 1 night because to see the castle bran and the hotel wash nice!

Really Clean hotel, with nice personal, it's localize less than 1 mile of the Dracula Castle

I have a high standard of cleanliness. Our room was clean, maintained well, and had a great view of the mountains. The family that owns and operates it is very nice and was a pleasure to talk too. Only draw back is it is about 1 mile from the shops and cafes. However, a nice 15 min walk through a neighborhood or there are cabs to call.

I chose this hotel due to its location in Bran, as I wanted to hike across two different mountains (Piatra Craiului and Bucegi). The hotel is located above Bran, in a location which has superb views of the mountains. While it has a great access road, the place is quiet, since there is not much traffic (and I was there on a busy holiday weekend). The hotel is very well maintained, and managed by the owners, which are very invested personally. I was very impressed from the warm welcome at check in and through the whole stay. There is plenty of hiking in the area, from strenuous long distance (I am a mountain runner) to leisurely hikes. The hotel has mountain bikes for rent, tennis court, mini soccer field, and a small pool. My first hike started early morning; the receptionist gave me a fairly thorough mountain safety check. The owners made sure I returned from the hike. They told me how in the past they called mountain rescue services themselves if guests did not return on time.

Wonderful English speaking owners that are warm, caring and genuine. Our only downside was no elevator and I'm handicapped but the hospitality more than compensated for the stairs!! We'd go back again.

When I arrived it was almost dark but I received a great welcome with palinka! Tomas the owner and his wife were friendly and chatted over a few drinks. The belvedere is simple enough to find and has plenty of parking, and is close to the mountains and Bran town. I went for a trip up to the bear sanctuary which was amazing, I will return again for some hiking in the future.

The hotel is basically a big bed and breakfast. Bran is a very small town and most tourists do not stay the night, so this small hotel had no other travelers besides my family, so we had the hotel to ourselves. The rooms are very nice, the bathrooms are very large as well. The one downside is that the showers are small and leak a little. The family that runs the hotel were very nice and made us a very nice breakfast that consisted of eggs and sausages. It's sort of hard to find if you don't have a map, but it's in a very quit neighborhood with a really nice garden. I would definitely recommend staying here for a short time, but besides one or two days, the city doesn't have that much to offer besides the castle. It would be easier to stay in Brasov if you are going to be looking at different locations in Transylvania.

The staff is very friendly. An 'at home' kind of feeling. A little off the main road but so quiet, it's worth looking for. The breakfast was excellent and the room very comfortable. Well under priced in my opinion.

we went there on Oct 1, when they had the first snow in over 80 yr. We had no clothing for the weather, but we made the best of it. Our experience on with Thomas and Nina Vlad and Romeo , the owners and their sons was amazing. We were the only guest cause we went during the week and during a snow storm, but it was great.....we had the opportunity to spend time with them and get to know the family. Very nice people and made us feel so comfortable. The hotel was great and the view of the mountains was amazing :), and very close to the Castel Bran. We will recommend this hotel to anyone.
