We always stay at parklands when we’re down that way it’s a great place to stay

Nice surrounding and views. Big area for kids to run around. Play ground and Bbq are great！

Everything about the stay was excellent, grandson loved the pool, situated close to the river riding tracks, room was great, just couldn't get the internet to work, spoke to reception but still couldn't get it to work, didnt go back and harass them as it wasnt that important

One of the best motels in NZ keeping with the old kiwi tradition of providing for the needs of visitors. Accross the road from NewWorld and fast food. Spa great.

Although just adequate it was dingy with no outlook and the WIFI connection was weak. The walls werre thin and noise from neighbours, although they were not being loud, was intrusive. It was not good value for money. We had stayed in other accomodation through Expedia, Airbnb, Homestay and others that gave much more for less. We booked this ASURE location as we had used them before and were not disappointed with them . On the plus side the bed was comfortable, the shower was good and it was clean

Arrived and the power was out. No one else staying at hotel except for us. The power was out for several hours and noisy maintenance was also ongoing at the property when we were staying. At one point the kitchenette tap water was disconnected loudly in the morning. Also the wifi wasn't available for the first night because of the power. Reception said they would tell us when it was back on, but never did. The room was dark and old. The walls were covered in natural wood panelling, like a cabin. The bathroom was very dated and so tiny, I am small and could hardly fit. No fan, just a little window. The face towels were faded light pink and so old - I didn't dare touch it. The washing machine area was very dirty and there were 20 odd bags of bedding for washing thrown on the floor in there, along with some old faded chairs and flyers for tours. There were cups, cutlery and bowls, a microwave, kettle and fridge - well kitted out kitchenette. I hated everything about the room, and the limited tv channels that flickered and the tiny wall heater. I didn't want to put my feet on the floor, or tough the old brown blanket on the bed. They had us park on the grass section outside the door of our room. It was raining and very muddy. The 'spa' was so gross and pool not in order.
