First Landing Beach Resort & Villas

We stay at first landing a lot. It is close to the airport. We always book a room with a pool and beach front view. The Royal villa has easy access to all amenities. Our downstairs bed was very comfy.

This was our first time staying in the Royal villa. Some of the down lights weren't working in the kitchen and stairs. Also it is looking a little tired compared the newer villas. Might need a little upgrade.

The hotel is nice and all the staff was really kind. All the equipment was good quality. There were a beautiful little market during the weekend to shop Fijian handmade products. Very good massage from the spa center.

The beach is not really nice.

Our air-conditioned room was ocean front and under large canopy trees with a beautiful view out to sea and the nearby marina. It had a fridge with tea and coffee making facilities and a comfortable bed. It was very close to the pool and also the main restaurant. The pre set payment of $45 for a taxi to the airport is great as well. We only had a snack (very nice) as we were only here for a stopover before an early morning flight home and did not want to stay in any of the airport hotels, but the meals looked very nice from what we saw being served to other guests. The resort is only 20 mins by taxi from Nadi airport and we would definitely stay here again before heading out to the Islands.

It took a very long time for the hot water to come through in the shower

My husband, 10-month old daughter and I visited First Landing for our Honeymoon and we had the BEST experience. First and foremost, our daughter was treated like their own; extra loved, and they took her for walks and play time while we enjoyed our lunch/dinner. Inia, Aggie, Alex, Jerry, Mateo, and our daughter’s favorite- Miriam were the absolute best. They always said “welcome home” and we absolutely feel like we’re at home.

Welcome Home This resort has been here for awhile. It’s the most amazing place. We were right off the First Landing foot island in which itself is beautiful. We saw the fire dancers which was spectacular. The food, even for a celiac, was unbelievable. The rooms are lovely ( a bit older but still ) they are spotless. The people take pride in their resort. The best part of the resort is the people here they are just amazing, kind, gentle, caring and loving. Last night a couple with a six month old was eating and the baby wanted up and out so the host asked if she could hold the baby. She held the baby during their meal and while they watched the fire dancers. Where else in the world would you get service like that.

Beautiful, spacious room with private pool was wonderful. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the ability to book short boat transfers to nearby islands directly from the resort jetty was fantastic.

Very expensive and location is quite remote from other restaurants or shopping (~20-30 minutes drive to Lautoka or Denarau)
