Krabi La Playa Resort

We stayed for 2 weeks at krabi La Playa Resort and had a fantastic time. We had a garden room which was spacious, very clean and had a large balcony for sitting out with a cool beer after a day in krabi. Both beaches are close to the hotel and there are many great restaurants nearby. I recommend king kitchen - the food is delicious. The hotel breakfast is very good and the staff are fantastic. Katie, the guest relations manager is really nice and helpful and is constantly checking with guests to make sure that they are having a lovely time. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a mix of relaxation and nightlife in krabi.

Lovely hotel, would highly recommend. Great area, handy to get to the hustle and bustle but tucked away to get away from it all. The hotel is immaculately clean everywhere and lovely pool area, with a swim up bar. Would book on of the swim up rooms next time as they look wonderful, however our room was great anyway, and has everything you need, hairdryer, iron etc etc, nice balcony, and very spacious. Best of all is the staff, so friendly and helpful. We will defo return. Thanks you!!

The hotel is a very nice hotel with a good location, close to everything and yet in a quiet neighborhood. The pool area itself is fantastic with good sunbeds and parasols. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Room 305 was a really nice room in the shade of palm trees and at a good distance from the music of the pool bar. The hotel as a whole is a really good adult hotel.

Overall our stay was good but could have been better! Rooms are spacious and beds are comfy and atmosphere is very nice, very resort vibe. Options at breakfast are very limited, you don’t seem to find variety of options. Room furniture is very old, not like what you see in the pictures!! We had very inconvenient experience with massage. We booked a couple massage for 6 pm, it was 6:25 and therapists did not show up yet. They told us to wait longer but we did not and cancel. Two days later they came to our room and said they did not have the therapist available and they expected us to wait longer. They brought fruits to our room which was a nice gesture but they took a picture with us as a proof that we were happy with our stay which I found it a bit weird. We felt like staff are not nice and welcoming.

This was an amazing place to stay, rooms are very clean, service was exceptional! Breakfast has so many choices and every morning there was a Thai food selection and selection as well, very yummy food! Staff were all friendly and very helpful! My husband and I came for a business and enjoyed some personal time too! The atmosphere and surroundings are so beautiful and serene!

Stayed for 7 days in Oct 2024. Staff was great, pool was wonderful, breakfast buffet was good, and close to beaches/shopping. But there was mold in the shower area; shower head holder was broken (was told it would be fixed, but it wasn't); sink did not drain well; sheets were only changed when we insisted; bottom of "sofa" cushion was stained (so it was placed up side down); sliding door frame gaped between part of the glass and the frame; sliding door curtain could hardly be moved from side to side, etc. Thus my description of "poor maintenance."

Worth the effort

Great location, close to shops & the beach. Hotel very nice & staff friendly. Rooms are a great size & modern. We had a swim up pool room with whirlpool which was a nice touch.

OK for a quick stop nothing majorly wrong nor anything exciting about it. Rooms are clean and decent sized. Staff is ok not as friendly or helpful as we normally experience in Thailand but as before not bad neither just below average. The beds where really good thought.
