Hegel Krabi La Playa Resort is a comfortable and well-located hotel in Krabi. The rooms are clean and spacious, the pool area is relaxing, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is close to Ao Nang Beach, restaurants, and shops, making it a great choice for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Just finished a lovely stay at this beautiful hotel. Its location is great,situated just a couple of minutes walk from the main road with an abundance of bars and restaurants. The room was very spacious with a large comfortable bed and features including,free safety deposit box, ironboard and iron,umbrellas, beach bag with mats,bathe robes and slippers,full bathroom consumables,towels for sunbeds to name just a few. The room was cleaned everyday to a high standard with fresh bedding and towels provided. The breakfast was very good with a large choice on offer and after 2 weeks we did not feel bored as the menu differed daily. The pool area was very relaxing with 4 pools to choose from and more than enough sunloungers for guests. The hotel boasts a pool bar with a good choice of beverages and there is a massage spa to unwind and relax in. The staff of course were amazingly friendly and go above and beyond to ensure you fully enjoy your stay. I would highly recommend this hotel and for the price it punches way above in quality and comfort than the price we paid. Thank you to all staff for a fantastic 2weeks in your lovely hotel

Lovely hotel. All the staff are so friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was really good. I had a birthday whilst I was there and was given a cake and a free evening meal in the restaurant, both were delicious. It's in a really great location for access to the beach and main town area, both are just a short walk away. The rooms were cleaned every day and clean towels and sheets every day. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thankyou for a great stay.

We stayed for 5 nights for our engagement and my partners 40th. This hotel could not of made it any more special. Huge thank you to Nina front office manager who was amazing done what we asked and much more her and her friendly team made our holiday so special. The hotel is right in the middle of everything you need and lovely and relaxing. The rooms are made fresh every day special thank you to house keeping. Value for money was excellent we upgraded our room and it was unbelievable the swim up room with jacuzzi is a definite must. Hotel was lovely and quite set back from the strip. No noise of a night had a good sleep.

Great hotel and staff just can't do enough to make my stay so good. 10 years since I was here but still the same. Great location just far enough away from hustle and hustle.

Nice hotel,good location,downstair have 7-11 & many restaurant,very convenient.Friendly staff with good service,nice pool with bar.Recommended.Will come back again.

Amazing experience and fantastic staff. Hotel toiletries were amazing. Bath and shower which was a luxury, strange having a window from room to bathroom but quickly adjusted. Great area near beach and variety of shops and restaurants. Much quieter than Bangkok and Phuket, would definitely recommend.

Beautiful hotel staff are so friendly and helpful, rooms are spotlessly clean. 2 min walk to the mainroad and you are on the main strip Ao Nang night market a 15 min walk to your right and numerous restaurants and bars to your left. There is a very good restaurant just up the hill from the hotel Kodam Kitchen not to be missed the food is the best we had in Krabi and cheap wish we had found it sooner.

We stayed at this resort over the Christmas period 2024. Due to the season the hotel was busy and room prices were inflated . The pool area was lovely however the peace was shattered by large family groups with parents actively encouraging there kids to shout loudly around the pool area and dive-bomb the pool for long periods and some guests who thought it was okay to takeover our sunbeds whilst we went to lunch for an hour and then deny it when they were clearly lying on our towels . A bit of staff intervention would prevent unsavoury behaviour around the pool area . We had a premier room which was quite modern , with a few issues in the bathroom, all of the fixings were loose and we had repeated issuesover the last week with lack of hot water which we reported 4 times. Breakfast was busy and not in the least relaxing, with long lines forming for the coffee machine and egg station with inexperienced staff manning it, one day one of the waiters was frying eggs. Food almost seemed to be rationed , you had to ask for bacon which was kept in the kitchen and fresh fruit was in short supply. Krabi is a tropical climate yet Fresh fruit at breakfast was limited and pineapple ran out quickly thats ig they had it in the first place . Food was not replenished quickly. It’s not very relaxing having to wait in line for basic food such as fresh fruit bacon coffee omelette etc. you can buy mango papaya pineapple kiwi dragon fruit for 50 baht outside the the hotel so not a big cost for the hotel. The grounds had some lovely plants , but had some cleaning issues, some of the sun loungers were filthy as was the wall and handrail on the cut through from main building to breakfast area and considering this was near to a staff area should not have gone unnoticed by management The hotel is in a good location but not sure it was worth more than double the room rate charged at other times of year given the overall experienced and issues we had
