DEEverything was fantastic, location, room, service, view, swimming pool, food etc. We were up-graded to a different, larger room with stunning views.
Unfortunately, during our stay there was a family with a child (who ignored the hotel's policy of being adults-only). Thus, it was one day partly rather noisy and destroyed the quietness and relaxation at the pool (what was our main reason to book this hotel). Even though this situation was certainly not the fault of the hotel management, it may apparently happen from time to time.

FRRoom was large. View is fabulous, also from the pool. Pleasant staff. Room with garden view still had a nice balcony with a side ocean view which was a very nice surprise. The location was a nice discovery on the quiet side of the coast and the little towns nearby have a couple very cute restaurants along the beach (fresh fish, feet in sand)… but beware nowhere is near walking distance and you need a car to go anywhere. AC and room was very quiet in general.
The hotel feels very outdated and definitely doesn’t feel luxurious on any level besides the view. Interior design is horrendous, dark, and heavy, and the common areas look sad, old and used. I’m not sure how this hotel gives itself 5 stars… there is no pool service, no normal restaurant, basically nothing but a pool and a small reception and a fancy evening restaurant + a shuttle to the awful sister hotel downhill if you want ro swim in the ocean along a concrete pier which feels like a gross 80’s relic. Honestly i found the hotel very depressing, without any atmosphere or vibe and not really good value for money. Finally, was very disappointed by the quality of breakfast in general… which is really a shame and easy to fix to make up for the rest.
